I'm afraid not, sorry. I made a start on updating the book, but there's still a lot to do, and I'm working on other projects as well.

Feel free to "be that guy" though, I tend to prioritize things that people are interested in

I don't think it would be a problem, to be honest. You can fire a regular bow three times per round in SWADE, so for the price of an Edge you'd get the AP 2 and slightly better range of a crossbow (and the increased weight and cost of course).

However, I'd probably rule it works like this:

When using a normal crossbow, you can perform one reload action per turn as a free action. So you could shoot (action), reload (free), shoot (action) and reload (action).

When using a repeating crossbow, you can choose between Double Tap and RoF 2 as usual. But if you also have the Double Tap Edge, you can make a Three-Round Burst (this consumes 6 ammo, so you could only do it twice per round). Likewise, you could in theory stack Rapid Fire with Crossbow Fetish, but Improved Rapid Fire would be unusable due to the ammo requirements.

    Hello Zadmar,
I am about to run SOTGH with my Group of crazed pyromaniacs :-)
WE will run under Swade , so I will have to convert / modyfy it a little. Every edge seems to be an easy Call (keep/dismiss/modyfy).

I was thinking about taking Dead Shot from SWADE and ad that free loading Mechanik to it OR to Grant the doubletap /rapid fire only for the first round.

    Any thoughts on it?

Thanks! Although to be fair, the fan and official licenses only really differ when it comes to commercial use. It’s become so easy to self-publish that the line between the two has blurred a lot in recent years.

Wow, Zadmar, I've seen some good fan products in the past, but not a lot that can be confused for official products.

    Great work!

A couple of years ago, a goblin crew hijacked a flying sleigh belonging to a mysterious red-robed sorcerer, and unceremoniously tossed him overboard. The jolly fellow was dashed upon the mountains below, leaving nothing but a stain to mark his passing.

A few days ago, a dyslexic human witch accidentally brought the red-robed sorcerer back from the afterlife while attempting to summon the devil. After breaking free from the ritual and killing the witch, the sorcerer headed west into the goblin lands, seeking revenge!

That sounds like a fine change to the size rules then. Looking forward to it.
