    Power Failure Cost

Just checking for clarification as one of my players asked...

Did SWADE change the rules on how much it costs when a Power roll fails? It used to cost the original amount of the casting. Now it looks like it says just a single point.

Some in the group think this refers to a minimum you cannot go below, and others think it's the full cost.
It used to specifically say it costs the same points as casting successfully, but this new description isn't as clear. For instance, it mentions Channeling as affecting the cost of a failed Power roll when Channeling only activates with a Raise.

So, bottom line - Does it really only cost a single Power Point to fail on a Power roll now? You can fail on something like a Resurrection spell and it only costs you one point?

It costs one point. I'll look into the wording for a future update. Thanks for pointing that out!
