Thanks for the previous answer, There is something I am still unsure about.

I understand this part

The puppet only gets a chance to resist when given a command that would cause them to directly harm themself or someone they care about. If the caster gets a raise the puppet, when the puppet gets a chance to resist they can break control by getting a raise on their spirit roll.

But

What if the caster got a normal success? Does the puppet need a raise to break control or just a success? If the caster does not give any commands that cause direct harm, does the puppet continue until the spell runs out?

They would still need a raise to break free if given such a command. But note, the caster knows how successful they were, so they would know giving such a command will never succeed and only give the target a chance to break free. Now, some Arrogant, Overconfident, Delusional character might still try it, but in general, it would be an unwise decision.

If the target fails the Spirit roll to oppose the power, yep. As long as no requests cause direct harm to the character or those they care about, they remain controlled for the duration.

Note however the last paragraph, commands are "general" and the controller does not get to dictate the specifics of how the character does it.

For instance, if a controller told a puppeted character to open a door, and the target knew there was an alarm on the door the controller didn't know about, they don't have to turn off the alarm, they just have to open the door.
