  • Support on attributes allowed by default?

    Can support be used on Traits, both attributes and skills, or only on Skills? (I have been allowing it on any Trait (most often it gets used on Strength, or Fighting), but have been informed it can only be used on skills.)

    Reading support on page 106 the second sentence refers to supporting a "skill" and "skills".
    However;
    1) Inspire page 45 reads on the third sentence "Trait" roll which includes attributes and skills.
    2) Natural healing page 96 states using support on Vigor rolls is acceptable in such wording as to be an obvious extension of support.

    Support is meant to work with Skills. Your examples are specific exceptions, which is why it's called out.

    That said, keep this statement from Support in mind when running the game, and if it makes sense, go with it.
    Players and GMs should be creative when making Support rolls.
