Environmental Protection and Elemental’s weaknesses

Hi there!

if a caster were to cast Environment Protection on an elemental (minor or greater) would that negate the +4 damage they would take from damage of that kind?

for example: casting it on an air elemental and protecting against electricity, would that negate the effects?

and if so, would that stop the anti-regeneration effect on such creatures since they’re “protected” from that element?

Yes, it would essentially cancel out. If cast with a raise it could reduce the damage by a further 2 points.

if so, would that stop the anti-regeneration effect on such creatures since they’re “protected” from that element?

While the power could reduce the damage, it doesn't change the type of damage being inflicted. Any Weakness based Wounds suffered still couldn't be regenerated.
