  • Interaction between "Dragon Sharp Horns" Tail Lash and Martial Artist/Brawler

Rolling up a Great Horned Dragon Hatchling, and have some questions about how edges interact with its attacks.

Page 69 of the Tomorrow Legion Player's Guide says:
Note that Edges like Brawler, which add to Claw damage die type, affect multiple damage dice—so a Hatchling with Martial Artist would deal Str+3d6 dice in damage.
So, we can assume a Dragon Hatchling with Martial Artist, Martial Warrior, Brawler, and Bruiser would increase its claw damage 4 times, from Str+3d4 to Str+3d12 damage, and get +2 on their fighting rolls. No problem so far.

The Great Horned Hatchling Edge "Dragon Sharp Horns", on page 11 of the Tomorrow Legion Field Manual, says:
The Great Horned dragons with this Edge add +4 AP to all attacks with their Claws, Horns, and their Tail Lash ability, which now deals the same damage as their Claws.
    1) If the tail lash "now deals the same damage as their claws", does the tail lash now deal Str+3d12 damage? Or does it deal Str+3d4 damage?

    2) Does the tail lash now gain the +2 fighting from Martial Artist/Martial Warrior? I would assume no, as it's rolled with Athletics, not Fighting.

    3) Is the horn attack affected by any of these edges? It, too says it deals the same damage as the claws.

    Thank you!

No. Edges like Brawler and Martial Artist apply only to attacks with the fists/claws or feet.

The Tail Lash ability uses the base damage of the dragon's Claws, before applying the bonus of those particular Edges.

    Nope, absolutely not.

No. Martial Artist specifically lists that it doesn't add to damage from other Natural Weapons, including fangs or horns (and in this case, horns on tails!). Brawler is similarly phrased to limit the bonus to hands and feet.
