From the Pathfinder SRD "Elven Magic: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance." Uh, a +2 on a d20 check is definitely NOT the same as a +2 in SWADE. Was this just a cut-and-paste adaptation? It seems kinda OP.

It’s a weaker version of Arcane Resistance, a Novice level edge. I don’t see a problem with it, especially since one of the ways it’s balanced out is by a flat -1 Toughness and a -1 penalty to all Vigor rolls... -
mriddle - It does not provide the 2 points of Resistance to Magic that Arcane Resistance does.

Good point..so it is, removing -2 on helpful spells vs -2 to damage from all magical effects. so that seems in realm of equal to me. in some campaigns it would be slanted one way verses the other (lots of enemy spell casters/magical effects makes AR more powerful). If your party has lots of buffing casters.. that -2 is going to hurt.
