A couple of notes regarding feedback...

First, see the below post for the major changes made.

Second, we did go through all of the previous posts in the thread. If there was a suggested change that wasn't made, then it was by choice not omission. The reason may or may not be obvious. It might be simply preference or possibly due to future (as of yet unstated) plans. As always, each group is free to play or change aspects of the game however they want, but these decisions stand.

On that note, we'd respectfully request that such requests not be repeated. As noted in the main Guidelines post, we're looking for errata, typos, layout issues, and other similar information. Posts that don't fall under that criteria. including repeat posts, make it harder to organize and consolidate the information. We don't want this to take any longer than you do, so we hope you'll help us out there.

Changelist for Version 1.1

This list contains some of the main alterations for v1.1 of Pathfinder for Savage Worlds. There were more than 200 actual changes in the manuscript, mostly minor typographical changes or errors, so not everything is listed here. Thanks to everyone who submitted feedback, we read it all and consider the suggestions carefully.


P20 - CORRECTION - Dwarves Hardy ancestral feature changed to Iron Constitution.

P24 - CLARIFICATION - Humans must meet the requirements of their free Edge.

P40 - CHANGE - AB (Magic) Has Armor Interference (light) not (cloth), allowing non-wizard magic users to wear leather armor.

P43 - CLARIFICATION - reworded multiclassing to try to clarify you can choose a new core Class Edge OR new core Prestige Edge once per Rank. See also page 79.

P44 - CLARIFICATION - Clarified how many penalties a Barbarian can ignore.

P52 - CHANGE - Druids cannot use metal armor.

P56 - CHANGE - Monk can now use Trademark Weapon on their unarmed attacks.

P56 - CORRECTION - Monks’ Mystic Powers should include deflection instead of protection (which gets added in Great Ki Edge).

P64 - CORRECTION - Sorcerers gain 15PP not 10PP.

P64 - CHANGE - For sorcerers, Spellcasting is linked to Spirit not Smarts.

P64 - CORRECTION - Put right-hand column on correct layer so it doesn’t get hidden in error.

P65 - CORRECTION - Abyssal: claws should not have AP2.

P66 - CORRECTION - Draconic: should be +2 Armor and +1 damage to powers with trappings suitable to the draconic bloodline.

P70 - CORRECTION - Wizards can only carry one active spellbook, they can prepare more from their notes, given time and money.

P71 - CHANGE - A wizard can learn a third power from the New Powers Edge if all powers are gleaned from scrolls and spellbooks he has acquired.

P71 - CORRECTION - Eldritch Inspiration gives access to all powers for a Benny (removed -2 penalty).

P77 - DELETION - Adaptable Caster has been removed and turned into a Power modifier instead (see page 172)

P77 - NEW EDGE - Arcane Armor: Requirements: Novice, Arcane Interference.

Your Arcane Interference counts as one level higher (so a character with Arcane Interference (Light) could wear Light armor with no penalty).

P78 - CHANGE - Holy Warrior Requirements changed to allow Any AB or Mystic Powers plus a Vow to your deity.

P78 - DELETION - removed Rapid Recharge and Imp Rapid Recharge Edges.

P78 - CHANGE - Added a paragraph to New Powers to reiterate the wizard’s extra power from this Edge.

P79 - CLARIFICATION - defined core Prestige Edges and specified Advanced Edges were not restricted per Rank. Added language for taking Edges at Legendary.

P79 - CHANGE - Arcane Archer and Arcane Trickster requirements changed to allow any Mystic Powers.

Changelist 1.3

Formalized the concept of the limited action - a character can only perform one limited action a turn, so if there is a choice between several limited actions, the player must choose one. This counts as one of the three actions a character can perform and incurs Multi Action penalties as usual. (See page 123.)

Mystic Powers now cost 2PP for their raise effect.
