  • SPC2 Matter Shaping versus Heavy Armor

When buying Matter Shaping can a character pay the 1 point to add on Heavy so they can affect heavy armor or walls?

I am thinking of situations where a metal shaper with Matter Shaping 6 wants to create a hole in a steel wall. But the wall would have heavy, it would not make sense for Magnet man or Polarity girl to be stopped in their tracks by something.

Alternatively if not, does matter shaping inherently have the ability to affect heavy object by its nature?

Nothing under Matter Control says the character is limited by Heavy Armor on the material they control.

Their limit is weight, "The character can shape as much matter as his power can lift in a round as an action."

Now, Heavy Weapon might make attacks with Matter Control affect Heavy Armor (though it would not grant created shapes, barriers, or constructs Heavy Armor) , but it's be up to the GM whether to allow it.
