  • McGyver grammar error, and an opportunity to use semicolons

On page 49, in the description of McGyver includes this paragraph: "A raise creates a larger explosive (2d6 in a Medium Blast Template or 2d4 in a Large), ranged weapon with a few more shots, 2d8 damage, or twice the range, a more stable raft, a more powerful battery, etc."

The description of the ranged weapon should be in parentheses, or the list of items should be more clearly separated using semicolons. It's an obscure grammar rule, but it's there to remove ambiguity and awkward wording that could imply that you're creating 2d8 damage.

"A raise creates a larger explosive (2d6 in a Medium Blast Template or 2d4 in a Large), a ranged weapon (with a few more shots, 2d8 damage, or twice the range), a more stable raft, a more powerful battery, etc."

    or

"A raise creates a larger explosive (2d6 in a Medium Blast Template or 2d4 in a Large); a ranged weapon with a few more shots, 2d8 damage, or twice the range; a more stable raft; a more powerful battery; etc."
