[50F] Failed healing spell roll

#1 Postby doswelk » Mon Aug 13, 2012 8:09 am

If a mage fails his healing roll does it still require a gallon of water and 10 minutes of time?

Or does it just require the initial drink of water?

I can see arguments for either of the above the only real difference being (ignoring PPs for now) that a quicker failure means more chances to heal wounds during the golden hour.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crispy and good with condiments.

Yep, it requires the full 10 minutes and materials (a gallon of water per wound to be specific).

The caster would roll after all the trappings are completed, not before.
