CONs, CONs, and More Cons...

#1 Postby Kelly B » Fri Apr 06, 2012 11:57 am

Before I attempt to "re-create the wheel" I was wondering if anyone knows if a master list of CONs already exists?

If there is, perhaps someone would be willing to point me in that direction?

If not, I thought this might be a great place for us to start listing them and I'd be happy to throw them together in a workbook for ease, so that there IS one.

The e-zine Savage Insider features a list of cons coming up in the next few months in each issue. However, I don't know of any sort of master list and would certainly appreciate such a resource..

Good day, Duck!

The ones that I know of are mostly mid-west Cons. I'll work today and compile a list of them. A lot of them are newer conventions and haven't been widely publicised, but are still drawing crowds of 400 to 500, plus. Big enough to be a good time, small enough to not be overwhelming, and they love their vendors :D

Check out the Savage Worlds Explorers' Society page. There's a big list of cons down the right side, with links.

Thanks for the link! I'll be sure and check it out.
I put together a list this weekend and have about 150 on it so far, I thought after I double check the info I'll share it and then if anyone notices anything I'm missing we can get it added.

Kevin I will be very interested in your list. Being from Illinois Gencon is an obvious one along with Rockcon. I am amazed at how few cons there actually are in the Chicagoland area.
