Benny chips

#1 Postby Nostromos » Tue Feb 28, 2012 1:19 pm

So in playing with Clint at GenghisCon I noticed he had Reaper chips...but there are none on the website..nor Deadlands. Any plans on getting these back into production? Saw a slew of others but really would love to get Deadlands ones for my game.

Yes, we'll be getting those back in as soon as we can. We've had a little bit of an issue with the supplier, but we're getting back on track.

Of course, with that, I'm even leerier of dates for these than I normally am. :1eek1:

I could use some Slipstream bennies when you get a chance... :)

That would be priceless VonDan....I can just see the group panicing if the chip fell on the ground and the dog ate it instead.

They would last about 8 seconds at my gaming table.

Are there any updates on the reprints? I really want to get a set of the generic ones.

Well, word is that it'll be at least a few months. As soon as we get 'em back in, we'll be sure to let you know via Tuesday update at www.peginc.com.

Used cookies one time at our table. The players seem to spend them faster that way.

I am also in search of the generic bennie set. I bought one roll some months back, but I'd really like another. No real hurry, though. It doesn't appear as if I'll actually be running a game anytime soon, unfortunately.

A thought: If it's a question of sufficient demand (i.e. a high minimum production run is required), perhaps a Kickstarter campaign would be appropriate?

When we have news (of any value, at least), we'll share it. Honest. Cross my heart and hope to have to eat my sister's incredibly dry Christmas meat (it really doesn't matter what it was in life...).

My Mom actually does a good job at that. But every year for the past ~30 years, she has sworn, "This year is the last year I'm cooking. Next year, you'll have to do it yourselves."

So far, we've lucked out . . . :)

I've recently been throwing far too much money at things, and I think I've found the best bennies / magic point markers: Quantum Bits!

They're small, easy to toss around, and actually light up as you move them around. Just don't use them in a dark room, they're too bright.
