Thanks, Thunderforge, but you omitted Trail Guide: Hell's Half-Acre (by Steven S. Long) that was mentioned in that chat transcript.

You're right, I did miss it. I must have been thinking you meant the Trail Guide Compilation. It's on now.

Am I right in saying that we don't have any info about it besides the author and that it was a "lost" book?

Yep, I know nothing else. Come to think of it, we're even guessing by saying it's PDF and Savage Worlds. For all I know it could be full sized paperback for Classic or d20... but I doubt that. I should have asked more hard hitting questions in that chat! But I'm kicking myself for not noticing the Noir clue in there...

Is that it for Solomon Kane? A bestiary or some other goodness would be greatly appreciated.

Try bringing it up in the Hey Pinnacle! forum. This place is just a repository of info that they have said. (That said, I'm pretty sure The Savage Foes of Solomon Kane is what you are looking for).

Also, this is the one year anniversary of the list! Here's to another year of speculation and having to interpret Joel's cryptic remarks! :1dance:

Hey, Thunderforge, can we get an update to the Big List?

Y'know, now that we're knockin' 'em down like bowling pins... :-D

What, you want me to take out the old ones so you can more easily see what's still staring at you in the face? And you want me to add more work that you all at Pinnacle have promised?

Done! :blam:

Does this still apply to the status of Weird Wars Rome:
Release Information: "Weird War Rome and Weird War I are both in the production queue, though there is currently no date information attached to either project. Anyone who suggests they know a date for either of them is likely a liar, not me, or both."(Joel)

Or have things firmed up a bit since that was originally posted?

I did some searching on the forums and it doesn't look like Pinnacle has given any additional information about Weird War Rome's release. Not surprising really as they don't like to give release dates or concrete information, lest it wind up in a forum topic about upcoming release dates where it will be preserved forever :)

From the recent Sand and Steam interview with Shane:

S&S: What projects are you working on right now?

SH: Hmm. Of the things I can talk about, the End of Nations MMO RTS from Petroglyph / Trion, and the Hell on Earth Companion and SciFi Companion for Savage Worlds. Pinnacle also has a few other announced projects in production–Weird Wars Rome and Weird War One.

It's true, we don't announce release dates until they're imminent.

But here's a little info I can drop: the final installment of John Goff's Blood Drive trilogy is called Range War!

Pretty much says the same as everything that's said here, so I don't think there's much need to add it. But thanks for posting it; I hadn't listened it it myself.

And I've added Cutter saying what the third Blood Drive adventure is.

So glad to see so many of the settings slated for Explorer's Edition rereleases. I'm in love with this format.
Not actually that savage.

Would it be safe to assume the Weird Wars books that are already out will someday be re-released in Explorer Edition? I'm thinking about picking them up, but would prefer the EE size.

The general plan is for full-size hardbacks to be reprinted in softback Explorer's Editions.

"Sure, but when?" you may ask. Excellent question.

If it something with a strong, solid, predictable sales pattern (like the Deadlands core rule books), then we're likely to go ahead and release the Explorer's Edition about a year later and let them share shelf space. For others, we're more likely to start laying the Explorer's Edition out when we see that stocks are getting low, then reprint after a few month's worth of stock lapse.

In general, anyway.
