Savage Worlds Ghostbusters...GHOST T-REX!!!!

#1 Postby DHRDawg » Fri Sep 20, 2013 2:38 pm

In my Savage Worlds Ghostbusters Game I wanted a scene in a museum where the crew would fight a Ghost T-Rex, similar to the one in the video game. I bought the model at ToysRus for $6 or $7, glued it together (except for the jaw), primered it in white, painted it green, drybrushed it to give it a "ghostly" look. I also saw these Toob Dino Skulls at the craft store and thought they could just be animated flying skulls attacking the crew. I left them bone looking to show that they are real solid skulls not ghosts.

It all worked out well. I'll post some pictures later of the actual game.

Savage Worlds Ghostbusters Session: Night at the Museum
These are shots from our last Savage Worlds Ghostbusters game. My plot point is loosely based on video game.

The Ghostbusters are guests at the Chicago Field Museum's opening of The World of Gozer exhibit. They arrive and all heck breaks loose!

The T-Rex skeleton turns into a ghost, dino skulls are animated, a mummy ghost wrecks havoc, egyptian statues come to life and a magic circle appears with an very mad imprisoned Sloar who spews black slime on a bunch of NPC's turning them into zombie like creatures.

After a pretty much destroying the museum, the ghosts were busted and the Sloar taken out. The crew saved the day. (One of the shots is of a player playing the Angry Mob adventure card for help.)

A Sloar shows up! "Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."

I modified the map using Photoshop. I added the green clouds and magic circle. I slapped a grid and was good to go.
