Are you really not deleting profiles and letting them spam again?

Who says they aren't? Remember, PEG isn't a big company, so somebody taking a day off means some things, like the forums, get ignored for that day. And given that we're nearing a holiday season, that is very likely. Also, once a username is deleted, it is free for someone else to register using it. So, they could just reregister it and spam again.

Really sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm working on it. I've still got my admin training wheels on, so right now all I can do is move spam messages to the super-secret oubliette where such dark things are banished. I don't yet have the capability to ban accounts.

Please bear with us, and it'll be back to normal soon.

And Cryonic pretty much nailed it. Clint and co. are neck deep in stuff now, which is why I was made a moderator in the first place a few months ago. It takes a little off their plates with me helping out here.

Those recurring spammers will be dealt with, I assure you.
'But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all mad here.'

Thanks for answering my "question". Lack of response of any description (it's taken 3 weeks since I first brought it up for this response) was making me think twice about reporting them if they could just come back and post later.

Now I know it's going to be handled I shall happily go about reporting them.
