Thanks!
Knowing that there's a chance (even if its a broad guess) that we might see it late this year is appreciated!

About how many gallons of shame do we have to keep pouring on this board to get it to come out sooner?

will HoER be published like the new DLR books (separated player and gm books) or will it be more like the first DLR book (all-in-one)?
or else it's too soon to say that?
tnx!

Say, that's actually a good question. It's currently in a single-book format, but by the time we finish up with it, it might be in the "ought to be split for affordability" format as well.

Not only do I not have a good answer right now, I don't even have a good pithy remark.

I'm already working on a "booster book" for HoER that includes vehicles, guns and gear.

Of course I will need to see the REAL book to know what exactly to put into it.

Well, at least I'm glad we now know where it had gone.

Once upon a time I had an idea for a post apocalyptic game I was considering developing. Not being familiar with many games that serve this genre outside of the original Gamma World, I briefly considered using GURPS, a whole lot of supplements, and the inevitable grunt work to put something together. Being the lazy GM that I am, I look for others to do as much of the work for me as possible and decided to make a trip to the FLGS to see what else was out there and discovered DL:HoE.

I picked up DL:HoE and The Wasted West. These two books were dripping with flavor and while not being exactly what I'd originally envisioned as a setting, me be the lazy GM that I am, I decided that it was close enough. Now before I ever got around to actually doing anything with HoE, I discovered SWEX and the many settings available for it. The rest is, as they say, history. So even though I never ran a single session of the original HoE, it's fair to say that it is responsible for numerous subsequent purchases and exciting games that I have run and played in.

That tickle of an idea is still hanging around waiting to be hatched, but I had long since decided that I'd wait for the Reloaded version. Even though I've had many happy hours in other SWEX settings, doncha think I've waited long enough? As happy as I am for PEG to see DL:R getting the re-imaging treatment, HoE is long past it's due.

Heapin' on the shame.

Any chance we can get this by Origins?

Yeah, I know... I was just trying to bump up the thread on the boards and in everyone's mind.

But don't worry, it's never really off my mind.

Just had the luck to run into the Discovery Channel Post Apocalpystic Reality Show "The Colony" on "Ondemand" Cable.

Made me miss Hell on Earth!

I know with Last Sons being pushed back for about 5 months, we won't see it at Gencon... But maybe.. Just maybe.. Maybe...

By Christmas? Please? Pretty Please?

Probably not. But if everyone's exceptionally good, probably not with the very slimmest chance of maybe.
