Native American Tribes Website

#1 Postby Semper Mortalitas » Wed Feb 24, 2010 12:45 am

Greetings Savages,
While I was working on my DLR campaign I was surfing the net for some information on Indian languages. I hit the jackpot on this web site not just languages but links to history, culture, etc. As well as a nice map telling you what tribes lived in what area of each state.

http://www.native-languages.org/states.htm

Hopefully my fellow Savages may find it useful.

I wonder if I should edit the title to be a little more informative.

Only three Savages found it of use. :-?

Oh well, you are all welcome and I am glad to help.

I immediately bookmarked it myself, as I thought it could be quite helpful. Thanks for posting it!

Thanks,
I didn't "bump" this one trying for a bunch of thank you's. I was just afraid it would suffer "thread death" before anyone found it to use. When I followed the map and it linked me to all that info I was geeking at the possibilities.

Check out the info on the Choctaw. If the part about their burial rites does not get your brain working for DLR give up and but the books back on the shelf!
