Vote for the New company Name!

#1 Postby DavidJ » Wed Sep 30, 2009 7:15 pm

Let's try This again.

I'm starting the voting poll over because I left out 1 name. If you previously voted, please vote again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So again, much thanks to everyone who submitted your names. You all came up with some very cool entries, but I'm still on the fence. I'm going to hold this vote for 5 days, so be sure to vote for your favorite!

thanks.

Voted for Legacy Studios, here. With your name change, previous products, and already given experience in RPG design, I just felt it said it all.

I voted e-Scape... Mostly because it struck me as something that it could be worked into a very memorable logo. I also thought it would suit the interface zero line nicely.

Drew! (who dabbled in graphic design and let it go to his head...)
Or I'm crazy.

I like 'Gunmetal Games' because I'm a sucker for alliteration.

Amusingly, one of my wife's recent paystubs is sitting on my desk here for some work she did with a company called 'Legacy'! :)

I voted for Asylum Game Studios. I like AGS as an acronym. That and all gamers are a little nuts.

I voted Gunmetal Games both because it rolls nicely off the tongue, and because I submitted it!

(wait, that doesn't disqualify my vote, does it?)

Gunmetal Games...

Alliteration Good.
It's properly 'testosteron-ey'....
It has 'Games' in the title, to keep it to the point

Yep, Gunmetal Games is cool.
Asylum Games Studios reminded at first of the new studio Reaper Mini's is starting for their pre-painteds

Just my two cents

Ehh, I'm not too worried about it.

It's not a company name. It's a product line.

I voted for Alien Mind Games, somehow it has a nice ring to it.

My 2nd favorites were Asylum and Legacy but those are somehow not very "unique" sounding.

It's actually a Tie, at this point.

I ran a second poll over at Enworld to give others a chance to vote (I set them both up on the same day), and here are those results:

http://www.enworld.org/forum/publishers ... -name.html

If I calculated the numbers correctly, then it's a Tie between Asylum game Studios and Gunmetal games. So I have to choose who gets the $.

The "secret" book I was going to give away was actually the frikkin Conan book for savage worlds that got killed *grumbles*, but I have no control over how that turned out.

Anyhow.. yeah, it's a tie. I'll sleep on it, make my decision and announce it tomorrow.

Thanks again to everyone who voted!

OK,

I've thought long and hard about this, and my decision is............

Phat Booty Publishing!!

Seriously though.

It's Gunmetal Games, submitted by our own Theophage!

I feel Gunmetal games is edgy and reflects the direction I'm going with future sci fi/modern products like Interface Zero and my Locked and Loaded line of Savage Worlds game supplements.

Congrats man!

So, you're saying the name Phat Booty Publishing is still available...?
