Kali and I might not be going to the Con :(

We got new jobs (well hers is a lateral transfer to the HQ), mine is a new job...

and we are moving. My first day is October 6th, hers is October 14th!

We are despirately trying to go... but we gotta pack!

No refunds.

love andy

Seriously, though. You guys have to be there. So you'll be a bit tired at work. We all will. I'll rustle up some of the fellas to help you move.

Good to hear guys! I'd hate to see all the usual suspects dropping out. We're trying to start a tradition here! :D

I know... believe me I know.

The timing is really bad, but we will figure it out

Naturally, anybody who wants to come to our place in Rochester to help Kali move a bunch of boxes the weekend after will be welcomed.

You da man! See you in 6 days, 20 hours, 19 minutes and approximately 20 seconds.

Yes, I'm looking forward to it. Why do you ask? ;)

And if anyone else is considering donating, remember that every little bit helps. A buck or two, $5 if you're feeling generous, is more than enough! Help some bruthas out!

Well, another Con on the Cob has passed, and another great Savage Saturday Night Bar 'n Grill finished off to a rousing success! Thanks to all the party sponsors, including Sean Patrick Fannon and Mark Swafford, and to everyone who donated for the dogs and sauce (this year, brought to you in initiative order ... ;) )
  • Heath Medlin: Joker
  • Michael McNeal: Ace of Diamonds
  • Mark Swafford: 10 of Hearts
  • Norman Hensley: 9 of Clubs
  • Yuri Zahn: 7 of Spades
  • Patrick Niles-White: 5 of Hearts
  • Dave McGuire: 2 of Clubs :D

Big thanks also go out to Tom and Glenn G., for keeping everything on track, and to Andy and the staff of the Holiday Inn for letting us start fires in the parking lot.

Thanks again, and here's to next year!
