Interrupting an Action

#1 Postby cpk666 » Thu Jan 04, 2007 7:56 am

Example: Jack moves down a hall and into a room, intent on attacking Bob, who is standing in the center of the room. However, Bill is hiding next to the door, waiting to shoot Jack when he enters. Jack loses the Agility roll and Bill shoots him, but only shakes him.

Does Jack get to roll to unshake now, or does he have to wait to the beginning of his next turn? What if he had been performing multiple actions, and was interrupted two or more actions into his turn?

Shaken recovery is indeed rolled at the very beginning of character's turn, so if the character is interrupted, Shaken, and does not spend a Benny to negate it immediately, he would lose his action and roll to recover from being Shaken at the beginning of his next action.

Hope this helps.
