[Rippers] Werewolves and Wolfmen

#1 Postby Kaspar » Mon Nov 12, 2012 2:18 am

What are the physical differences between transformed werewolves and wolfmen?

How and when they transform is clearly stated, but once transformed how do they differ if at all?

I thought he meant difference in appearance.

To me...

Werewolf = Van Helsing werewolf
Wolfman = The Wolfman with Lon Chaney Jr.

We use the terms like this

Wolf form = Just like a wolf or (Full wolf)

Lupine = almost like a wolf but something is dif and maybe bigger and smarter or (3/4 wolf)

Hybrid = A biped wolf with a muzzle and ears and wolf legs or (Half Wolf

Wolfman = Lon Chaney Jr. and Eddie Munster (1/4 wolf)

The first three are forms the werewolf can take, while the wolfman only has the "wolfman" form, right?

If you really want to throw a curveball at your players, have the wolfmen not change at all. At least not physically.
It's great fun to throw a pack of wolf-spirits in 100% human form at them, too.
Think berserker. :)

My overall plan is for the werewolf, to have biten a human, who then is turned into a wolfman at the next full moon, and then goes on a killing spree. The werewolf's plan is to use the killings of the wolfman as a decoy for the kill that he is gonna make himself.
