Has anyone created templates for a SW Showdown version of this miniature game?

Yes, and I am working on expanding it.

I took someone's Savage Worlds stats and transfered them to Showdown. That was only for LAMI (movie) troopers, so I am making up the PAMI (Roughnecks) troopers' stats. And more bugs - the SW stats only had three kinds of bugs, I added quite a few more.

Also working on the Marauder stats.

Last Gencon, I ran a couple of tables of Showdown at Savage Saturday Night, one was the battle above ground, the other below ground.

Sounds good. I have played for some time now and have created some downloads for SST on TheAgencyStar, all using the SST rules though.
I created a Starship Troopers Plateau Terrain Guide as well if you are interested.

Sounds good. I have played for some time now and have created some downloads for SST on TheAgencyStar, all using the SST rules though.
I created a Starship Troopers Plateau Terrain Guide as well if you are interested.

Do you have stats for the regular Mobile Infantry or Mauraders? I also play with a bunch of Rippler bugs. Didn't know if you had stats for that as well. I quickly looked over and will snag a copy to look over more thoroughly.

After we get the stats worked out, you could put together a PDF with the stats and some photos of battles - like you did for the Plateau Terrain Guide. That would be nice.

I would drop it. Rarely used. Frag Grenades should be an option and the underslung grenade launcher on the morita should be for the build as I have most players take them for anything big. Most Privates useally use the Morita Rifle, Grenade launcher, Grenades and possibly a Shock Stick. Or they swap out the Morita for the Rocket Launcher. Here is a Squad makeup of what I was talking about.

all looks pretty good. I would reduce the pace of MI and bugs a bit though to simulate more in the book. MI didn't move very far unless they jumped (Flight) which is 2/3 the move rate of a standard Warrior. Is the reason for MI STR d10 because of power armor? Might lover that too. Just first thoughts so far.

I don't want to lower the strength of troopers in powersuits for the simple reason that the Troop Builder has humans with d8 Strength - see World War II listings. In fact, the TB has vampires with d12 Strength, so powersuits should be at least d12 Strength.

Also, dropping Pace to 6 would be negating the powersuit benefit. By "book", do you mean the original novel? In the novel the troopers hopped along at 40 kph - that is without the jump jets, so they could actually move faster than the movie bugs or the ones in the Roughneck Chronicles.

I just updated the Power Armor troopers stats above. I gave the captain Hold the Line! and increased his Command radius to 10", cost 8. The cost could be 10, I don't think it matters that much.

A few friends and I will be playing SST-SD with these stats on Labor Day, I'll let you know how it goes.
