Any word on HOE reloaded

#1 Postby robert4818 » Thu Apr 07, 2011 10:41 pm

Any news on this setting. I know LC Reloaded is years away, as ideas have just started being solicited, but do we have any timeline on HOE reloaded?

No that I've heard. But if you think it'll do any good, you can always pile some more shame on Teller and Joel.

There's some more information about it in the RPGamer interview. It starts around 35:30.

Cutter says, "this year" and "one book... followed by one plot point book."

As Shane posted just days ago...

PEGShane wrote:It's not going to make GenCon this year, unfortunately. It is in layout, but given all the other stuff coming we can't quite make it.

Sorry!

So... before Christmas?
28/12/09 Scooter just bought a Deadlands book... In a Japanese Gaming store... And the clerk knew what it was. Awesome.

To quote Cutter the other night, it sure looks purty in layout. Still waiting for all the luscious art to come in, though, so no ETA that I can give out.

It's in layout, you say? That sounds promising.

Any chance of seeing a preview (aside from that one adventure)?

That one adventure had nothing to do with official HoERL, so don't take anything in there as official. We'll have to see what we can tease you with to drive you into a frenzy of not having the product yet.

I just can't wait for preliminary AB rules, as my marshal wants to convert to HoERL just as soon as it pops up (and I want my Junker to be primed and ready for it)

As am I. In the meantime though, I've been slugging away at conversion material. I just picked up S&R, and started converting over some of the Scrapper systems. Once I have those done, I'm going to revisit Cyborgs (it's easier to cut out a bunch of work before hand).

I also punched out a bunch of material for Templars, and am continuing to tinker with Junkers. It's still a little moot when the book comes out, but I'm finding myself in a position where I might need something to use in the meantime. You're welcome to help my playtest them though, PsyBomb.
