Range of Detect/Conceal Arcana and Intangibility

#1 Postby Phasma Felis » Mon Mar 20, 2017 1:36 pm

Detect/Conceal Arcana has a listed range of Sight. For Detect Arcana, that clearly means the detection range is line of sight, but I'm not clear if it also applies to casting the spell on others. Can it be bestowed at a distance, or is it self-only?

Similarly for Conceal Arcana, can it conceal any arcane effect the caster can see, or is it shorter?

While I'm being pedantic, Intangibility has a listed range of Touch, but the text sort of implies that it's self-only. ("While incorporeal, the mage may affect...") Which is correct?

The range for activating it would be Touch, but it applies to anything the character sees or (for Conceal) that can see it.

The range is Touch as listed.
